Artificial Intelligence Research Group in Construction Management is established to solve problems we face in construction sites. The fundamental problems of artificial intelligence include programming computers for specific traits such as predicting, reasoning, problem-solving, perception, and learning. We apply AI programming to many different areas of construction including safety, quality, cost control, scheduling, and optimization.
The group is established with five undergraduate students as part of the CE-Star (Student Academic Research) Program of the Civil Engineering Department and three graduate students under the supervision of Dr. Tokdemir.
We use Python and Matlab for coding with many other supporting tools.
Finally, we love AI and believe that it is the future…
